APPOINTMENTS

I'm engaged and have a wedding date, now what?

Congratulations on your engagement! There is nothing that makes us happier than helping you find your perfect gown. Our boutique is filled with gorgeous hand-selected dresses that fit the taste and style of every unique bride. To find your perfect dress, we recommend you begin looking 10 to 12 months before your wedding date. Shopping within this recommended time frame allows for ample delivery time and alterations. If you don't have that much time ahead of you, don't worry, we have a lovely selection of 'off the rack gowns', sale dresses  or our designers also have rush-shipping options.

How many people can I bring?

Finding the perfect gown for your wedding day is a unique experience for every bride. Many opinions can make decision making difficult, so we recommend that you bring between 2 to 4 people with you. Bring those who have your best interest at heart and that will enrich this experience for you! When booking your appointment, let us know how many people will be joining you so we can accommodate your group.

How long are appointments?

Bridal appointments are scheduled for 1.5 - 2 hours.

 

Prom appointments are scheduled for one hour.

Should I look at dresses online for inspiration?

Pinterest away! We do suggest you keep an open mind during your appointment. Often times, what our brides come in looking for is not what they leave with (sometimes it’s the complete opposite)!

What sizes do you carry?

We carry a variety of sizes in all of our collection. Each gown size is chosen with you and the gown in mind and we can order any size that is required. 

Is there anything else I should know?

We do require everyone who enters the boutique to remove their shoes. We don't mind bare feet, but for your comfort, we recommend you wear socks or slippers.

 

We kindly ask no food or drinks (alcohol included, as we do not have an liquor licence)

Are you wheelchair accessible?

Yes we are!

Do you carry mother of the bride or bridesmaids dresses?

We no longer carry mother of the bride or bridesmaids dresses.

TIMING & ALTERATIONS

How long will it take for my dress to arrive?

Dresses can take four to six months to arrive. Our designers also offer a 10 -12 week rush delivery for an additional fee. All ordered dresses must be delivered to Grace Bridal 6-8 weeks before your wedding for our peace of mind. If you are in a time crunch, we always have a large selection of sale gowns that you can purchase off the rack at a discounted price.

Do I need to find a seamstress?

All formal wear requires some alterations; a hem, slight adjustments, etc. Upon ordering, we will discuss with you what alterations your dress will require.

We do have a seamstress at our bridal boutique and the alterations are done through her own business. Her availability is not guaranteed. Should she be booked up, we recommend finding a seamstress that you are confident and comfortable working with. Alterations are not included in the price of our dresses.

Styling Fee

PRICING & PAYMENTS

Do you charge for appointments?

Yes, we do require a $50 styling fee for ALL bridal appointments. 

(Fee will be taken off the cost of your dress, when ordering within 30 days of your appointment) 

The fee must be paid at the time of booking,  over the phone with the credit card or E-transfer (hello@gracebridal.ca) within 3 hours.  

Appointments will NOT be secured until the fee is paid. 

*The fee will be refunded if your appointment is cancelled with 48 hours notice.

 

Your appointment will include:

1.5 hour appointment in your own private room (Bride + 2-6 guests) 

One on one service with a trained-experienced bridal stylist. 

Private viewing of the dresses with your guests where you can select styles to try.  (Your consultant will also suggest styles throughout your appontment, or can pull all styles for you to try based on things you like if you wish.) 

Your stylist will pin and clip once you get into your dress to show the perfect fit.  We will select other gowns, suggest different options, styles, colours, knowledge on all dresses.

Once your dress arrives, we will reserve you once again a private room for you and your guests so you can try on your beautiful gown.  

Payment Plans?

Grace Bridal is happy to offer our brides and prom girls with a customized payment plan for their dress(es). Upon finding your dress, we require:

  • 50% down payment on your wedding dress with a customized payment plan for the remaining balance, or the balance paid in full on pickup;

  • 50% down payment on prom dresses with a customized payment plan for the remaining balance, or the balance paid in full on pickup.

  • Sale items are to be paid in full.

Cash, Debit, Visa, MasterCard are accepted methods of payment.

*All Sales and Deposits are final.
